This is another fantastic opportunity to support local and professional athletes who compete in a 100 mile, 100k and 25 mile cycling event beginning at Avila Beach, with a turnaround in Cayucos, and then back to an exciting Italian themed finish line festival in Avila. Bob Roll and Allison Tetrik are amongst our special guests at the Saturday 3-5pm Pro Panel Reception and Sunday races. Proceeds from this event benefits the Hearst Cancer Resource Center and Alpha Foundation.

What we offer our valued volunteers:
All Race SLO Volunteers receive an event T-shirt, snacks and drinks, a chance to meet and greet both local and professional athletes, AND a chance to have a smashing great time!  Everybody’s a winner! All day Volunteers are fed Rib Line BBQ at the festival or given a Race SLO bucks gift card if they prefer.

What do our volunteers do?
We offer a variety of tasks such as athlete check in, safety marshaling, aid station support, and customer service at the festival. We welcome all groups and adult supervised youth groups wanting to earn volunteer hours. No experience necessary.

What should you bring?
Weather appropriate clothing (layering works best- the event shirt we provide MUST be worn on top), sunglasses, sun hat, water, day backpack, sunscreen, camp chair, camera, signed waiver, and most importantly, your enthusiasm! You are our rockstars!
